I recently rented from service first property in bolivar Missouri. When I first occupied the residence I had to go in and clean the apartment due to horrible smell. The freezer went out on the refrigerator causing me to lose my groceries on several occasions. The refrigerator was replaced after a month of me calling the company. The stove stopped working two weeks after I moved in and was never replaced. During the winter months the windows would freeze and had ice on the inside causing black mold which I brought to their attention and nothing was done about it. A work order was put in several times to have the windows replaced and I was ignored every time. This cause myself and my two year old daughter to have respiratory issues. This was also brought to their attention and again I was ignored. The laundry facilities in the complex were broken until 7 months after my move in date. I called monthly to inquire about them being fixed. I was told that they are not responsible that it is a third party responsibility. They are making their tenants pay for the utilities used in the vacant apartments. They do not let you know this until after you have already signed a lease agreement. They claim that you have to have a 30 day written notice to vacate the property which they claim is in their lease agreement which is not. I terminated my lease agreement on time and stayed the full year of my lease term. I hired a cleaning service to go in and clean the apt after I left. Resolution Sought I would like my security deposit back.
