The apartment complex of Eagle Creek Court in Indianapolis IN had overcharged me for normal wear and tear. I have video and picture proof that I left the apartment clean, no actual damage was done to my apartment that exceeds normal wear and tear. I spoke with a representative who even admitted that they normally prime the walls, glaze the counters and clean the carpets. However they charged me for "Glazing" though my counters were very cheap and I had a very little kitchen so I don't understand why it was almost $200. The walls were very clean and no damage was left but they also charged me almost $200 to prime them. They had also charged me for a bug cleanup even though I had contacted them prior about the bug problem, nobody fixed it for me and I had to bug bomb my apartment myself before I left. They also charged me nearly $500 for the carpet replacement. The carpet did have faded stains from my animal however that is why they took a pet deposit of $300(non refundable) the representative herself told me the carpet could have been saved but the company decided to replace it because a 3rd recommended it. But if they said the carpet could have been saved, because again, not beyond normal wear and tear, I should not be responsible for them choosing to replace it entirely when they didn't have to. Resolution Sought I would like my entire refund of $628 back because I am not responsible for their upgrades. I have video and picture proof time stamped on my phone showing the conditions of my apartment before moving in and after moving out.
