My experience has been horrible. We moved into these apartments on October 6, 2023. On October 5, 2023 I called Georgia power to have services transferred into my name and thereafter made a payment in October for $200 and $97 in November. I contacted Georgia Power in January and was informed that the leasing office transferred electric bill back into their name and then proceeded to have someone to come clean our apartment as if a new tenant was moving in February 1, 2024. On February 7, 2024 we contacted the leasing office about current bill and its increase of charges to our rent. I advised VP of the office that services was transferred correctly on October 5, 2023 and that two payments was made. The VP stated that the leasing office aren't allowed to re- transfer services during a current tenant lease but somehow Georgia power confirmed that the leasing office did indeed transferred services. The VP refused to listen and understand and fix the situation stated that we didn't make any payments on electric bill even after showing her via email and Georgia Power application that services were set up. There was also no communication of services being transferred back via email or note on door or text message. I feel as though I have been scam with other incorrect and miscellaneous charges. There was no investigation into charges or an effort to resolve the issues. Resolution Sought I want current charges for my electricity to be fulfilled by leasing office and moving forward I will take responsibility of electricity so that this situation will not happen again.
