We own a restaurant & were closed for 2 years during the pandemic. When we started to try & reopen, I re-established an account with Harbortouch / Shift 4 POS systems. We had to close and reopen a couple of times at the beginning of the reopening, due to supply chain issues. But we eventually worked some of those things out and opened for to-go and delivery orders. However, after a couple of months, we realized that the POS system service was not needed & called to have our account be put on hold indefinitely. We thought that this had been taken care of, but recently realized that Harbortouch / Shift 4 had not placed the account on hold at all. And, that we have been charged $336.80 for several months for services we have not been using. I called an spoke with a manager from the company & they refused to refund us the charges because they did not have a record my request, to place my account on hold, in their system. I do not know what happened with their system records or what / who is at fault, but I know that we were not at fault for their system error. I have requested our account be completely closed. We just want our money back for the services that we have not used. Resolution Sought We want a refund for the fees we were chrarged, for the services we did not use.
