The company reach out to me via Facebook and told me about there so called amazing solar program that offered me free installation, new furnace and an ac unit that would be compatible with the solar panels. After talking to the technician which was a week later - I found out that I would have to pay $18,000 just to get my ducts done to accommodate the solar panels. I immediately canceled the agreement because I was told something different. Now that I have tried to cancel there services and contract the company continues to call me and harass me about the $18,000 and nothing has been done to my property at all. After filing a police report and finding out that this business has all types of complaints on the BBB website. I realize that I have been scammed by this company and want others to be notified not to deal with them. They will tell you you only have to pay them because you will no longer have a regular electric bill. Then after they get you to sign the contract via email - nothing ever comes in the mail - the truth is revealed. I am a senior citizen with all types of mental and learning issues which I told them in advance but I want to warn people in my age group and with mental/learning conditions to be very cautious when dealing with Shine Solar they are a fraudulent company selling people hopes and dreams of lowering there electric fees. In fact, my daughter filled this out for me because I was unable to fill out this form myself and submit it to the public. Help!! Resolution Sought This company needs to be identified as a scam, fined ($$$) for what they are doing to people and closed immediately. I want my cancelation to be honored and to stop being harassed by this company. Don't take any money from my account or I am pressing charges because I have already talked to Jacob P. And Will and told them that they don't have permission to take any funds from my account which was advised to me by my bank and the police station after I filed my report.
