Husband and I put $5500 on a $13000 vehicle 8/17. It hadn't been thoroughly looked over yet so the dealership kept it until 8/25. The check engine light came on 8/27. We made an appt with them for 8/29, they said it was a 'stored code' and turned the light off and to come back if it comes back on. We took the vehicle home. 2 days later 8/31 the light came back on. Car went back to dealership 9/7. They said it's the catalytic converter and it's not covered by them. Resolution Sought I would like the dealership to fix the expensive problem that it feels like they were trying to cover up.
