I went down to the water company yesterday and was told that I had to pay the $195 bill. I'll check to make sure throughout my house that there was no leaks that there was no lines busted and there hasn't been a politely asked for them to take and change out the meter and they told me that somebody could very well be coming onto the property and taking the water off of my property for that to be at $195 they would have Ted taken hundreds of thousands of Callens of water in just a short amount of time, that is impossible. I paid the bill but I did tell them that there needs to be a check on the meter. They refused. My bills have never been this high. I have proof of what I'm saying I have never had this much trouble with them until here recently the company has been dishonest with me, and will not work with me , I have tried to get them to understand that that bill needed to be double checked because there's no way that out of the last five or six years that I have had water it goes from being about $65 to 195 and just a short amount of time I have since then tried to reach out to them and get them to work with me and figure out why the bill is the way it is all they gave me was a piece of paper showing all my bills that I have paid and it has no explanation as to why it was so hot I'm very frustrated I'm not a rich person I barely make ends meet I'm a retiree, so I have to try and keep what money I came for. What little bit of food I can get Resolution Sought I would like for you all to look into this because this is really frustrating and I'm not the only one that is on that or having the same amount of trouble. It makes no sense to me as to why they would charge me that much and it would not help me in the least if they kept charging me that that's too much I don't have that kind of money so please if you will just check into this for me and see what is really going on and why my bill was so high I would greatly appreciate that, and you are more th

Company states; Mr. Johnson came to Slam Utility District said that his bill was high and he had no leaks. The Meter was rechecked at the time of Meter Reading and it was read correct. There was a reading taken at the time of the recheck. The reading was 428070 this was taken on 6/7/2023 the meter was rechecked again on 6/9/2023, and the reading was 438350, which was the usage of 280 gallons for 2 days which, is 140 gallons per day. Mr. Johnson says that he has not had a leak but his water bill is back down. And the Utility did not do anything on the utility side of the meter. So, it appears to the Utility District that Mr. Johnson had a problem on his side of the meter and wants the Utility District to change out the meter when the water meter is now the problem. Mr. johnson was told that it looked like his bill for July 2023 would probably be around, 4,562 gallons. And when the meters were read for July 2023 bill his gallons were 4,570. So therefore, Siam Utility District did what we needed to do for Mr. Johnson. Sincerely, Siam Utility District Office Manager
