I called side pocket billiards on 2/18/2022 at 5pm asking about their weekly 9 ball tournament. The guy that answered the phone said practice starts at 7pm and the Calcutta is at 745pm. 25.00 entry fee. He said nothing about a 32 bracket limit. When I arrived at sidepocket billiards an old man with long white hair and a beard in his late 70s told me to see Ron about registration. I saw Ron a white bald guy with glasses in his 40s. I asked if I could register for the tournament and he told me it was filled with 32 players. I told him when I called on the phone there was no mention of a list or bracket limit. He replied not my problem. I drove all the way from Staten island to this tournament. Round trip it is a total of 60 miles and about 50.00 with gas and tolls. Resolution Sought Pay me the 50.00 I had to layout for this trip.
