SMS Equipment - Prince George reviews

Very bad experience

I am a road construction contractor and logger.. I have bought approximately 2.5 million dollars worth of equipment from sms and have never missed a payment.. the machines are all paid off and have been well maintained.. I recently had a major failure with an engine in a 50 tonne excavator.. it was only 800 hrs over the warranty.. a new engine cost me 100000 dollars to replace.. these machines are known for this failure due to a cam gear coming loose and piling up the engines.. there has never been a recall to rectify the flaw.. I only found out about it after the failure.. sms has done nothing to help me.. I am so disappointed in their service and really shitty for lack of a better word support.. I will be selling all of my Komatsu equipment and buying Volvo or John Deere.. this company has cost me 100s of thousands of dollars in unnecessary bullshit along the way..I just want bad publicity for them.. they have no complaint line on there website that I can find.. I like Komatsu equipment.. but there service and support won't suffice in my company..I just want to see bad publicity posted on these arrogant service people in Prince George BC.. SMS has to have better service and help for contractors.. and Komatsu have to be more accountable too.. very bad experience..
