Subject: Misleading Product Advertising and Denied Replacement – Snapchat Spectacles Complaint: I purchased a newer version of the Snapchat Spectacles because I enjoyed my original pair, which was advertised as water-resistant and worked well when submerged in water. Naturally, I expected the updated product to at least maintain the same features. However, the new pair failed after water exposure, which was never clearly disclosed as a risk during the purchase process. I reached out to the company hoping for support and a replacement. At first, they acknowledged the issue and told me the case would be escalated. Later, they changed their position and claimed none of their products are waterproof or water-resistant — even though my original pair was. Once I pointed this out, they admitted only the older model had that feature, and that information was supposedly listed on the website — but this was not clearly communicated at the point of sale. I believe this is misleading advertising. Products typically improve over time, not lose key features without obvious disclosure. I still have my original, functional, water-resistant pair as proof of my claim. I requested a replacement or compensation, especially given how poorly the issue was handled, but was told they no longer make the product. If that's the case, they should offer an upgraded version or a discount, but instead, I've been left with a defective product and no support. I have emails that trans Resolution Sought • A replacement pair of glasses • Or a discount/credit toward a working, upgraded pair • And better disclosure on product changes in future marketing Thank you for helping resolve this fairly.

My account was locked permanently for no reason i didn't violate any guidelines i follow every guideline on Snapchat and I make money from making spotlights on Snapchat and the videos follow their guidelines my email to the Snapchat account is Resolution Sought i would like for my account to be unlocked
