I took my truck to get computer programmed. The next day the guy called me said hey we'll get around to it whatever it needs we'll fix it. 2 weeks pass I call him he's like no we're going to try to get on it next week which didn't happen. third week he said hey we got your truck going we just need two batteries because the battery is in there are dead I was like okay he's I need authorization if that's okay I said go ahead I need batteries that I just bought I want them back cuz I was going to take them back to get he said we send them off already they're gone I said what do you mean gone I sent you my batteries. I've been calling every week every other like couple days money whatever he finally he called me says hey your truck's done you come pick it up I'm like so what's wrong with it he tells me all this s*** you don't even tell me what it what it is he said we got we got motors you can put in there for so much I was like what the f*** I said all I needed was my truck to get programmed that's all I needed the rest of it needed it will go but he charged me 5 hours for technician which the technicians didn't even put my belt back or my glow plugs they took them out they were brand new they took them out so basically I'm asking for my money back or my truck fixed correctly. Resolution Sought I just what I spent for nothing

Guest had vehicle towed in on 5/18/2021. Guest's vehicle had 337,886 miles on odometer. Vehicle, the day it was towed in for service, was 15.7 years old. Guest at time of check-in stated vehicle died during operation over a year ago. Vehicle due to age, miles, and time sat without operation, was in poor condition. Both batteries would not take a charge and failed under load tests. Required battery replacement to get vehicle modules powered up for proper diagnosis. Once batteries were replaced and modules were powered up. Guest had hopes that only the glow plug module needed programmed. This module had a code u0106 for loss communication with glow plug control module. I can not program what we can not communicate with. This was the least of his concerns on this vehicle. Guest at check in authorized 4 hours of diagnostic time to see what it would take to get the vehicle up and running. As my tech completed diagnosis of why it would not start, he found that the engine had low compression of approx. 100 psi, manufacturer recommended spec is 400 psi. This vehicle had internal engine damage causing it not to start or run. Due to the age and mileage on the vehicle we were not interested in dismantling for repair and suggested a replacement engine with a warranty. Guest declined and asked up to stop and further repairs or diagnosis. Now he waits over 23 weeks before filing a grievance???? I feel it is not justified due to we completed the diagnosis that he requested and approved and that we stopped diagnosis and repairs when he requested us to. His original invoice is for $1089.27, not $1200.00.
