We had a house fire May 26,2020 We hired Spaces LLC to do the work It started off good until the contracter Wanted To do things his way. Well He got pay over 14,000 for one vinyl 12 wood windows. we had all vinyl windows his choice way less for vinyl then the wood ones he Put in he did this. We were suppose to have wood he collected extra money for not putting the wood ones on. We were suppose to have pop corn ceilings he did a stain kill and painted them. We now have Chris cross paint marks all over ceilings in the house. My ceiling in th master bathroom is coming down. Rugs and carpet pads were w suppose to be. Replaced with natural floors underneath. He owes us for purchasing door knobs and dead bolts hall bathroom vanity sink and faucet and vanity light fixture. All light fixtures in house and ceiling fan. Because of this he left taking all materials he was paid for we were not reimburse for materials. My husband did the rest of the 17of the rest of the house. Bank verified he did 83 only. He got a lawyer put a mechanical lien on our house. The lawyer wants us to pay the contracter all of it. He also wants us to sign a contract saying this is not to be talking to anyone about this We are asking only to be reimbursed for the materials money the money we spend on the baseboard molding. Fixing of doors not done right the ceilings My husband's time on buying item and hours worked but SPACES LLC wants all the money please help lawyer also wants us to can Resolution Sought Give refund of material s bought and hours worked to finish Took materials we paid for in the middle of night. Took our keys had to break door to get in Committed fraud on Windows and carpet pads and no rugs. Range hood he was suppose to purchase and buy told to pick out never paid us Baseboard molding all rooms have pictures. Fire was not painted or cleaned my husband did it have pictures.
