They are billing me for equipment that I haven't had since February. I used their tv/internet service at the apartment then, but moved to assisted living end of February. Movers packed me up and moved me to present location, and I don't have the equipment that I am being billed for. Please help me with this issue, and thank you! Resolution Sought Please resolve this issue to the point that I owe nothing. Thank you.

I think it was a contract for home internet, but it was for a business account. I called the company on 10/01/2024 to see if it could be corrected, and was told it was a business account, a contract was signed, how much it would cost to get out of the contract. She informed me if I read it bc I signed. Doing the contract signing, I explained to (Sally) the situation I was dealing with. My son had died, my mom 6 months later, and I was trying to help my brother, who was being taken advantage of by others. I can't say she felt like "here's a sucker," but I told whoever I was speaking with yesterday, "they were scammers too! I called on 10/02/24 to ask for a copy of the contract @ 11:40 am. The recording said no one was ahead, I had an option to hold or receive a call back. I waited for 6m. I finally opted for call back after no one answered. At 11:52 I got a call back from 877-692-2253 with 2 rings and it stopped. I called it back, and it was their same recording that ( see I've called before, was it the same issue and so on. I just would have liked for them to charge for home services, and not a business service. They are well aware of it not being for business. I told her, "he's on a fixed income." The payments have never been late, and seems like they've gotten $1,980.51 that is what they charge for canceling the contract. Resolution Sought Understand it's dangerous to oppress the poor! They're not going to do what is right, and that's a fact, bc it's a business out to make money, good or bad and don't care about the person who has to suffer from it.
