VERY Poor place
I just got out of the center in Laguna Beach and have a LOT of choice words on this facility, which not many are good. Is a total insurance scam, the place is run by 20 year olds and if you are not also 20 for them to hit on you, are basically ignored while you have to see and listen to the ongoing drama in the facility. The above, as well as their website is absolutely misleading and not true. Chef? It has two Mexican ladies preparing the same thing daily, and it was quite GROSS.The staff has no communication, you are booted for insurance without notice, and they don't even help you get to the airport, let alone assist you in getting home....just OUT.The counselors are all nice, however, they are far from counselors who really assist you with tools, etc. to reenter the outside real world after treatment. The meetings are quite lame and are not at all your typical AA type meetings, and again, run by peers voted by peers and is a joke. The living conditions are substandard....The website claims bedding is changed once a week, yet this is just not the case...you are lucky if you get clean bedding upon admittance and is never changed the duration of your stay. Even several of the matresses have blood stains on them and the staff just shrugs it off telling you to use your pencil thin blanket between you and the mattress. You are not allowed laptop, tablets, cellphones, IPods with a camera (for they are afraid the true facility will "get out"), hairspray, nail polish or remover, etc. You are allowed monitored time on your cellphone for 2 minutes twice a day monitored! and if you text, you get in trouble and staff reads through all of them. There is just too much to write with everything I just encountered over the past month. Even the paperwork they shove down your throat at admittance includes a waiver stating you will not badmouth the facility....what are they afraid of? Well...I am not upholding any of the documents that I signed for was "trashed" upon admittance and signing legal documents under the influence makes them all null and void. Keep on your insurance big time for I was told a couple of times my insurance had "dropped" me or lowered my coverage and in fact, they had not....Is a total insurance scam 100%
