Company Response

Tenant called a work order in November stating her toilet was hard to flush and her drain was stopped up. On November 7th, the plumber repaired the toilet and unstopped the drain. However, drains had coins and gunk and hair in them. The only item the tenant was charged back was for the stopped up drains as per the tenant lease agreement ($190.00). As mentioned above there was a few items that were not taken care of when the tenant moved in that I was not aware of, these items too have been assigned to a vendor to fix and will be take care of in a timely manner. Looking back there has only been one other worker in October, the heat not working and it was repaired.

The leaser is now having vendors come in and repair the items from the initial move in agreement. The items that were clogged in sink were not a result of myself or my child again. Again if the proper maintenance had been done to the unit I would not be charge for the prior tenants negligence. The clogged drain was a direct result of the prior tenants and I shouldn't be required to pay when all the other issues that were listed on the move in list are just now receiving attention fourteen months later.
