Complaint Against: Allstate Protection Plan / SquareTrade (Regarding Protection Plan #383411909215952) Summary of Complaint: Allstate Protection Plan has failed to issue the reimbursement they approved for my Whirlpool refrigerator under Claim #012900134136. Despite completing all required steps, including signing an affidavit, I have not received the promised payment and the company has stopped responding with meaningful updates. Details of the Issue: I purchased a 5-year Allstate Protection Plan, valid 1/18/23–1/18/28, for my Whirlpool refrigerator (Model: WRT112CZJZ01, Serial: VSL34749401). On August 13, 2025, Allstate notified me that the refrigerator could not be repaired and that I would receive a $399 reimbursement, which represents the full purchase value of the appliance. I signed and submitted the required affidavit on August 14, 2025. Since then: • No reimbursement check has been issued or received. • I have contacted SquareTrade/Allstate repeatedly since September 2025, and each time I am told the check is "in process," but it never arrives. • My warranty was closed out, leaving me with neither reimbursement nor coverage. Desired Resolution: I am requesting that Allstate Protection Plan either: 1. Immediately issue and deliver the $399 reimbursement check, as previously approved, OR 2. Reinstate the full warranty coverage . Resolution Sought Immediately issue and delivery of $399 check to my home address or reinstate original warranty on the refrigerator

I purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot, accompanied by a warranty protection plan through Allstate/SquareTrade, which assured me a replacement if the appliance failed within the warranty period. Unfortunately, my dishwasher malfunctioned before two years, and when I submitted a claim for a replacement, I was told I was only eligible for a refund, which is only half of what I paid. When I expressed my willingness to wait for a replacement, I was informed that one might not be available within the three-year warranty period. This is unacceptable, as the warranty clearly implies that a replacement should be provided in a timely manner. I feel misled by the assurances given at the time of purchase and am disappointed with the lack of support from SquareTrade. I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue and ensuring that my warranty is honored as promised. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Resolution Sought I want a replacement of my basic standard dishwasher.
