I purchased a Tucson 2020 from Hyundai of St. Cloud two years ago. It seemed to have an electrical problem because I would have it in the garage and it would not start. I called Hyundai and they said it was because I didn't drive it far enough. Most of the mechanics I know disagreed but they did nothing. Checked it out said everything was fine. Now when driving it a warning light came on and it roars and the tachometer zooms up to four and the car speeds up. It isn't safe to be driving a car that sooefs up on slippery roads by itself and you have to hit the breaks to stop it. They took it in and said it was a catalytic converter. They supposedly changed it out. I wonder? The car still runs the same way and in my opinion is dangerous to drive or be on the road with it. It's not safe. Not to the driver or other drivers on the road. Resolution Sought I want the car fixed. They are ignoring my phone calls. They say there is nothing wrong with it. They are definitely wrong and I believe they know it. It is under an extended warranty and needs to be made safe to drive. I want it fixed or they can give me a car that runs right. I am upset they don't care about a person's or people's lives.

I bought a Hyundai Tuscon two years ago from St. cloud Hyundai. It's under warranty as I took out an extended warranty Incase I had issues. After buying it the car wouldn't start and I would have to have it jumped. There answer to this was I didn't drive it far enough. I talked to many mechanics who disagreed with this but they looked at it and said there was no problem. So I was left having to jump it quite often. My problem for living close to work. In the economy we are living in we need to save on gas. Now two years later I am living in Kimball. I was noticing the car was making a sound I had never heard and the tachometer was going way up to 4 and the car would speed up. It does this even more in cruise control. It will actually race and you have to hit the brakes to make it stop..When driving it home a warning light came on. I called Hyundai and was told to bring it in. They said it was a catalytic converter. They had to wait a week for it to come in. After replacing the part it still ran the same so I brought it back. They did something to the computer and now it's worse. I called them again and they are ignoring me. The car is not safe to drive on winter roads speeding up like it does. It scares me to think of driving it with the first snowfall. They need to fix the problem. I drive thirty minutes to work and back every day now. It has to be worked on by Hyundai because of the warranty. I am scared and a bit upset with this com Resolution Sought I want my car to be fixed so I am not afraid to drive it or they can replace it for free.
