I'm in a wheelchair due to mobility issues and I took the St Lawrence County Public Transit bus from Parkview Rise located at 1111 Jay St in Ogdensburg NY to the Community Health Center located at 102 Ford St in Ogdensburg NY. The bus picked me up at approximately 11:15 am and we had a delay due to the morning driver was going on lunch break. I then got on the bus again at 12:30 pm and dropped off at the Community Health Center at 1:00pm. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 pm, but the gad a cancelation so they took me in at 1:15pm. I went out to the bus stop behind the Community Health Center at 2:55 pm. The bus stopped at the Community Health Center at approximately 3:20pm. The bus driver saw me sitting there waiting for the bus but did not get out of the bus so I could get on the bus. He says that I was not at the designated bus stop. There are signs stating where people need to be while waiting for the bus. The driver only waited for 1 minute then left, knowing that I was waiting for the bus. I called the bus garage in Canton to have them call the driver and tell him that I was waiting for the bus and the driver said "oh well, he wasn't at the designated bus stop". This is the second time that the bus driver name Ted did this to me. The first time was at Walmart in Ogdensburg in May of 2023. That incident was reported to the supervisor at St Lawrence County Public Transit Office. Resolution Sought I would like for them to either terminate his employment or put him on a different route as for as long as Ted is the bus driver in Ogdensburg during the afternoon hours, I will not take the bus. .
