I went to Staples in Cypress CA to get a charging cable for my boyfriend, and from the moment I walked in I was singled our and followed by not one but 3 employees. I found what I was looking for and decided to browse through the store. As I was browsing the 3 employees including the part owner continued following me making me very uncomfortable. So much so I decided not to make a purchase because I was highly offended as the only black customer they singled me out. There were several other customers in the store yet all the focus of the employees was on me. As I proceeded to leave one if the employees asked to look in my bag which I initially refused asking if he checked all customers bags. He said yes, at which time a Caucasian lady was exiting the store and he did not ask to check her bag only said have a nice day. As I walked towards the exit I was told not to come back at which point I felt it necessary to defend myself against his suggested accusations and show him the inside of my purse. I was humiliated and discriminated against. I asked the part owner for the phone number to file a complaint and he was rude and sarcastic stating I'll give you the number to the president of staples. He informed me that staples was privately owned, which is when he also informed me he was part owner so I could call whomever I want. Resolution Sought I would like a formal apology from the part owner as well as the employees. There should be some sort of repercussions for the employee lying about checking everyone's purse that leaves the store and basically accusing me of stealing.

I went to staples to get ink for my printer. I asked an associate for help I told him what printer I had and he gave me the ink he said would work. I asked if he was sure because I live about 16 miles from there. He said yes. I got home it did not work. I called and a young man answered and asked to to hold while he checked to see if they had the correct ink. I explained that I had no way to get back to the store as my son in law had my car. He Saud he was trying to find a way to help and put me on hold. The store manager Eric picked up and spoke very rudely to me..he was very hateful and told me it was just too bad for me. I told him it was 32 miles there and back not to mention the time it took to get there. He said oh well that's too bad for you.. Then said ok well have a good day as I was trying to explain to him my situation and hung up on me..they costed me gas..time..and money from my business..and the price of the ink as I am afraid to go there to get my money back..i felt threatened by this store manager named Eric... Resolution Sought Give my money back for the incorrect ink and give me an apology for the mean treatment. I was polite the entire time..if I could I would give zero star rating
