I have been a patient at star med care for a little over a year . 2 to 3 months of me going there I still wasn't receiving my medication due to the prior authorization not being done correctly the information they were sending in was saying I had back issues and my paperwork doesn't support that . so they had a qr code that you can scan and leave a review so I did and I thought they were unorganized. moments later the CMA Keisha comes from the back and ask the receptionist did she see the review she said no I'm going to check it The CMA Keisha ask me do you go by a different last name I confirmed. After that she refused to do my prior authorization so I had to report to my insurance on everything that had took place I ended up having to submit everything on my own. My prior authorization was approved. fast forward to July 28 2022 I go for my appointment as scheduled and I noticed I was sitting there longer than usual so I go to the front desk to see how many people are in front of me but the whole sign in sheet was gone so I ask the guy at the desk could he check to see how many people are in front of me he walked to the back and comes back and tells me Keisha said don't rush her I said to him what kind of answer is that. I took a deep breath went outside for a smoke that when keisha and the other medical assistant came out side to confront me, keisha was doing all the talking she said she doesn't like me because I'm always complaining so I asked her what am i complain Resolution Sought Replace the staff that is there and get all the drug addicts off the premises and reconsider my discharge because it was due to prejudice because I did a review because I cant go another year without my medication

I receive your complaint regarding this patient, none of this is true. We had several problems with her that i will be faxing over regarding her urine without her meds in her urine. Regarding her authorization thats not true because a patient cant authorize her meds a doctor has too. Every time she come to a visit she always has a attitude and very nasty to staff and the lab tech who work here as well. This patient is upset because when her name was called to see the doctor, she was not in the building and she was called several times and still no show, when she came back inside of the office she was upset because no one came outside looking for her when she went outside to smoke. No one never approached ms boyd and kisha never told ms boyd she never liked her. Ms boyd has people calling the office threaten kisha to were the dr even heard the conversation because the phone was on speaker. decision was made to discharge the patient from the pain management clinic. Patient can be very confrontational with the staff manager and the phlebotomist at almost each visit. This behavior causes a lot of disturbance in the office. Patient was asked to kindly find another pain management clinic. Pain relief was given for two weeks until she finds another clinic.
