In 2021 (or 2022), I signed up for the financial service "Stash"; however, I never used the app, and to cancel, I was directed to call their support to close my "account". I proceeded to do as such, however, to my surprise, I have a charge as recent as February 2025. Despite this, I reached out to stash support to resolve this issue, given that I had not used the service ever, I expected to receive financial compensation for a service I was led to believe was canceled. Respectfully, I provided context to their support team, and described how it was misleading to indicate my account is closed but still charge me, even if their service was moot. Unfortunately, due to the "advisory agreement", they defined that they were unable to provide any financial compensation for such. While I'm unsure of the total amount, they charged $1-$3 a month since then. I believe it is greatly misleading to indicate to users to close their accounts, but not informing them of the proper steps to fully cancel the subscription. Given the explicit lack of use from the account in years, they sent no emails regarding my activity or the further steps needed to process my removal. Resolution Sought I would simply like a full refund of the amount I've been charged since the "closing" of my account. While they may be protected from the advisory agreement, it is incredibly nefarious to continue to leech from unknowing subscribers. Given the minimal amount of the cumulative transactions, I believe it is only fair to provide a full refund, especially given Stash's status as a multi-million dollar organization.

Stash owes me $139 for the fraudulent transactions. Stash Stole $139 from my Wells Fargo checking account for a Subscription plan that I didn't even sign up for and I've been trying to close the Subscription Plan for almost 3 years now an 3 dollars is what stash keep charging me (As Shown in the Picture) then once there no more money left in my Wells Fargo checking account for stash to take they will overcharge me which causes Wells Fargo to charge me overdraft fees and stash won't let me cancel the subscription plan that I haven't agreed to which caused massive amount of fraud on my Wells Fargo checking account. Also thanks to stash for committing so much fraud on my Wells Fargo checking account that I couldn't pay off, now my Wells Fargo checking account is permanently closed and now I'm in debt. Resolution Sought Stash makes this right by just refunding me back the $139 that you wrongly charged me for the theft & fraud that you have committed.
