Unethical Business Practices

I had filed a police report previously when I was scammed and robbed at this store. I went inside to purchase a Redbull while on lunch break.
The cashier told me the card machine wasn't working and could only accept cash. He instructed me to use the ATM and pointed to the back of the store.
This felt super weird, and I even joked with a coworker who was with me that this felt like a scam. It was later discovered that my card was compromised that afternoon and they had stolen hundreds from my bank account. (I believe a card skimmer may have been used on the ATM) I filed a police report, and after their investigation, my finances were recovered and the matter was reconciled. I never followed up to press criminal charges, and I never found out if the employee was responsible, but I've always had my suspicions. Recently, I reluctantly went back to this store for fuel as their marquee sign listed gas price at something like $2.45 per gallon (which would be the lowest in this area). I pulled up to the pump and prepared to fill up my truck, only to notice that their pump listed the same unleaded gas at $2.95 per gallon. To fill up my truck, this would be a difference of about $13. There were other people pumping gas (I assume unaware of the gas price differential) - I've worked at a convenient store after high school. I know that gas prices don't fluctuate .50 cents per gallon in a day. This was either a clear case of fraud, or complete incompetence by the store manager.
