I hired this handyman to redo a bathroom in my home a year ago the end of June/July 2021 and the work is still not done. At the time, I told him I would like it done by the holidays. I would text him every once in a while to ask him when he would be able to do the work. He would say he had a lot of siding jobs to get done and I did accept that because the weather was nice to get those jobs done when my job would be inside. He did text me at the end of Dec to say he could start the job on Jan 15th, but that was not a good time for me. In Feb or march he contacted me worried that I would contact the Whistle Blower Hot Line. At that time he offered to refund my money. I didn't take him up on the offer at that time. I texted him in May and told him I would like my money back. He did call me right back and explained that he would take the materials back and get me the money. He called me in June and said that he didn't know this, but that he couldn't return the materials because it was past sixty days and he would have to sell the materials. He called the middle of July and said he did find a buyer for the materials and would give me my money, but that still hasn't happened. Resolution Sought Refund my money.

Per consumer states; On 8/16/2022, Steven Kugler came over and gave me $500.00 on the amount owed and said that he would give me $500.00 a month until paid off. I agreed to this, but told him I would have to see an effort to continue the monthly payment.
