I went to get a new set of dentures after I started a dental plan with my heath insurance. I paid 44 85 a month and was allowed 2000 per year as long as I paid the premiums. I got the plan in nov of 2023 and continued to 2024.i got my dentures.they were way too big.startted going in for adjustments every other week or so.nothing they did worked. I have gone in there 10 toe so far .the time before this Tuesday I told Dr baker that I need a liner and told him about something on line called denture cushion grip which is a temporary liner .he said maybe I should try that.i did try it and it wouldn't hold so I got refund from Amazon. I then made another appointment to see him and that is when he says he can't touch the dentures because I did an adjustments by putting the adhesive on them.the adhesive comes out very easy so I don't think that is an adjustment.so I asked if he could put a liner in bottom plate and he left and the finance girl came in and said it would cost me over 509$ I told her that was crazy because I just paid 5000 for dentures to fit. I was also that my gums are shrinking which I knew and they knew before they did the dentures. I was also told when I 1st went in there that they would make sure my dentures would be ok and they would do everything they could to make them fit.now they want more money.i did not adjustments on the dentures but dr baker said once you alter them he not allowed to touch them. No allterations were done by me. I did what he suggested. Resolution Sought I want them to put in a liner for my bottom plate at no charge since I paid for dentures to fit better than my old ones which fit better than the new ones.
