Stayed at Storey Lake Resort from 3/6/2022-3/12/2022. Per the rental agreement, the ac was to be working and dryer to be functional. I reported three times during the week the ac quit working and it was temporarily fixed once, which was Monday, 3/7. The ac quit working again by Tuesday evening and I reported on Wednesday that the temperature increased to 78 degrees. We were told it would be fixed but it was not and by Friday afternoon the house was at 81 degrees. We were burning up and unable to open any bedroom windows to cool down, which is a safety hazard. The contract was breached by management for non-working ac and dryer. We reported the dryer would not dry except after being run twice on timed dry and it left our clothes smelling foul. The dryer was never fixed, another breach of contract. I used a towel to clean a fan of excessive dust and they want to charge me for cleaning the towel. We needed the fan to be comfortable as possible for our last evening in the house and the fan was extremely dusty. I have all necessary paperwork and emails for proof of these complaints. Resolution Sought Our total to stay at this house was around $1,550. I would like to have the total of $500 refunded for breach of contract due to the ac broken and the dryer not functioning and leaving a foul odor on our clothes. $500 is roughly for 1/3 of what we paid and will satisfactorily cover the inconvenience we experienced.
