So I rent a storage unit from stormark storage in Mt Airy NC. My rent is 118 which is almost 20$ more then I paid for the unit when I started renting. They charge me a late fee after 6 days and my rent goes up to 133$ I always pay my rent within the month but it is the 21st and know they have tacked on even more late fees. The total know is 158$. I have always paid before the end of the month. Adding on late fees just for the hell of it should be illegal. This company took over from a precious owner and I did not sign any papers agreeing to these outrageous late fees. I struggle since losing my job to make my payments. Adding even more late fees on to already late fees should be illegal. Resolution Sought I don't want additional late fees tacked on to one late fee. Again the unit always gets paid within the month it is not even 30 days past due
