Cody Cundiff came to my home on 5/24/21 to give me an estimate on landscaping. Clean out flower beds & Placing borders which I already have around flower beds. He gave me a price of $220.00. He stated that once he got back to the office he would check with his guys to see how long it would take. He stated it wouldn't take long since it wasn't that much to do. On 5/25/21 I received an email stating 2 amounts one for $250.00 & another for $300.00. I responded back stating that he Mike Cundiff would talk with Cody. I received an email later stating Landscaping 250.00 & edging $300.00. I already had the border for the landscaping, he was just placing border after cleaning & edging flower beds & trimming one bush. Cody Cundiff told me the job would be $220.00, so he lied. He asked me if the $220.00 was okay & if that was in my budget & I stated yes. Obviously, this is another rip off company and I was lied to. Also Cody arrived over an hour late to meet with me for the estimate. He did call to say he was running late. Resolution Sought Honor the price of $220.00 that he quoted to me in person.

Good afternoon, We never give a quote while we are looking at the job. If the customer asks Cody about how much he thinks it will be ,Cody might say "oh it will be around 200 or 250" in general conversation. Until he gets back to the office and looks up material cost involved in the job and man hours it will take to do the job a final number is generated then. I'm sorry if she misunderstood.

This is not true he did give me the quote of $220.00, while he was at my house. His statement is 100 false.

Cody never gives final quotes on the spot with our customers. This is only the first complaint we have received in five years of business. We are very sorry that the customer may have misunderstood. Cody has to come back to his office and run numbers, which are man hours, cost of material and etc. He does not pull that out his head immediately. He does not gouge customers but he does have to cover his costs. We got back to her quickly as we do all of our customers. The customer may have the edging but it costs to have it put down that's why the price had an additional $50 labor costs and final cost of $250 was only $30 away from his conversation with her on that day which was also labor cost. Also she stated that he arrived an hour late for the appointment but he did contact her and made her aware of it which is the right thing to do. We are not a rip off company and I take offense to that. We currently have over 200 lawn care customers who will attest different to that. We do many landscape jobs weekly as well and have never had a complaint. We stand behind our quotes. We do excellent work. Its sad that people communicate in this fashion.
