I got a call from a modeling scout for a photo trial shoot and was told it was a rigorous process. If I get selected after the shoot, I will get modeling jobs. I put my card done to $50 to secure a spot. On the day to the shoot, everything went well, then I was taken into a room and told I made the cut and got selected. The agent then went on the say the recommended package will cost $4000 payable up to 12 months, they will work with me and connect me with big modeling opportunities. She went on to read a contract over a screen and ask that I place my signature. She did not show me any addendum or disclaimers. I got home and saw that the contract that was sent to me said they would not be responsible for finding me jobs. So I called them to try to resolve this , why would they want me to pay $4000 and not find me job. I was told that that's the contract I signed therefore nothing can be done. I told them I can't afford to pay that amount of money and I was told they would send it to collections. I never received any pictures from them. Resolution Sought Investigate this scam and for they to address my claim.

Dear Ms. Afolabi, Please note you had a full assessment and all the details were gone over in detail - the contract clearly states the following : _____________________ I understand that Studio 1 is not an agency and will not find me work. You signed on the line adjacent as noted on your contract. You also attested that you could not cancel and that you could afford the monthly installments. You were fully aware otherwise we would not have moved forward. Regarding not receiving any product - this is not true: below please find the text you received on 3/25/24 at 11:18 Photo Studio Group: your images and model guide have been sent out. Expect it in your inbox or spam folder in 30 min. Please search "WeTransfer" in your email. Please discontinue making these types of statements. We are happy to assist you and have forwarded options for you to consider. Kindly review the emails Francheska has forwarded and reply to her so we are able to come to an agreement.
