I went to this dealership to purchase a 2014 Mini Cooper, Countryman on March 8, 2024, I was presented with an offer of 12,997 for the car, after running my credit twice the dealership first stated that I was approved for 11 percent interest then after running it again they wanted me to accept the offer with 20 percent interest, I felt they were trying to loan shark me with a higher interest and their mannerism in dealing with me was racist and very unprofessional. To question me why I wanted to have two vehicles and give me an alleged scenario degrading my payment history without knowing my circumstances of disability and trying to imply that the creditors feel that if I get into a hardship that I wouldn't be able to afford or make payments was totally irresponsible and uncalled for. I was very offended with their handling of this manner and feel that I was profiled because of being a person of color. Resolution Sought Formal apology and my credit cleared from their hard inquiry.

As part of our sales process, Marcy started her presentation to the customer from the Roaster app and presented the customer with some preliminary numbers based upon, "our store's average credit". Marcy relayed to the customer that those numbers were only estimates and could change once her credit was ran and submitted to the lenders. Mrs. Abdalhakiim's credit score is 608 and she had 7 collections/charge offs that were not previously disclosed by the customer. When the final approval was obtained, and numbers were presented to the customer she refused to buy because the payment was too high. Factors such as her credit score, her delinquent credit history, and having an open car loan with a $850 payment all influenced the lenders decisions on the approvals. Nothing was ever said or implied that her sex/religion/ethnicity/color had anything at all to do with the lender's decision. She was treated with respect and professionalism while she was at the dealership.
