I received a oil fuel delivery yesterday with a note on my door saying that they would not delivery fuel for 150 gallons so they would see me in the spring. The minimum fuel delivery is 100 gallons. I also have a credit on my account so payment is not the issue. I called the local office to speak with them and spoke with Gerry Hoyt. He listened to my complaint and said goodbye and he though he had hung up the phone but he did not. Himself and another girl in the office Lara spent 5 minutes making fun of my call and me, as I listened. They mocked me and mimicked everything I had said. They had a great time at my expense. I called back to let them know their phone was off the off the hook and I could hear every single word they said. They delivered fuel oil for 150 gallons last Feb 2021. 150 gallons is $500. They have no idea if I have a financial hardship for not. I have lived in Vermont for 20 years and in my home for 26. I have never had a note put on my door like this. Resolution Sought I would like a the corporate office to speak with Gerry Hoyt and Lara and let them know that its not ok to mock customers who spend thousands of dollars on fuel. I would like to know why they feel it is ok to employ workers who think this is ok and a letter of apology from the employees who think this behavior is acceptable. Maybe if they were charged the price of my oil delivery they would not behave in this manner. I have a credit balance on my account I would like that oil delivered.
