I am submitting a complaint regarding Capital Vacations' refusal to provide a fair and reasonable resolution for canceling my timeshare. I have made numerous attempts to communicate with their representatives, speaking with various departments over the phone, but I have yet to receive any meaningful assistance or reasonable solutions that could help me resolve this matter. Capital Vacations has repeatedly presented me with unreasonable options for cancellation, most notably demanding an exorbitant $10,000 payment to end my contract. This is a completely unaffordable amount for my family, as I have made clear to them during our discussions. Despite my attempts to negotiate or find alternative solutions, Capital Vacations has been unwilling to work with me, leaving us feeling trapped and overwhelmed. Out of desperation, we even sought assistance from the Attorney General's office to bring attention to the situation. When the issue was raised, Capital Vacations insisted they had done nothing wrong and refused to acknowledge our concerns. This response has only added to my mounting frustration and disappointment with their lack of accountability. We have owned this timeshare for almost twenty years, and during that time, we have only been able to use it three times. The original promises made to us during the sales process have not been fulfilled, and it has never been worth the financial burden it has placed on our family. We feel misled and taken advantage of by a system tha Resolution Sought A cancellation of our Account with Capital Vacations.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the termination of our timeshare contract with Capital. My husband and I recently received a default letter and want to understand our account's current status. We have faced several issues with our timeshare, including difficulty booking units despite upgrading to the point system, staying in outdated and uncomfortable resorts, and receiving poor value compared to other services like Hotwire and Trivago. The quality of accommodations has not met the luxury promised, particularly at the Branson resort, which was crowded and uninviting. Given these challenges, we no longer see the benefit of continuing our ownership and wish to terminate the contract, requesting a refund of our investments. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in navigating our options for contract termination and reclaiming our funds, as Capital has not been helpful Resolution Sought Timeshare membership cancelled, and full refund of monies paid thus far.
