SuperFresh Supermarket of Bay Ridge. Their shelf prices are not always the same as the price that's charged at checkout. This happens with not only items that are on sale, but with non sale items too. This time, the manager DAWN comes, looks at the item (english muffins) and goes to the bread isle. I followed and she points to another (similar item not on sale) and says, that it's not on sale, it says bread, not muffins. I show her the correct item. She read the sale item and its sale price, says nothing, walks back to the cashier, looks at the item and walks away. I asked cashier if she mentioned the error, she said no, that she just looked at the item and walked away. Waiting for minutes, she appears isles away collecting empty carts. I had to shout and call her name 'DAWN, we are waiting'. She returns, says to the cashier, "I said it's $2.49", and walks away. Cashier tells DAWN she needs her managers card to override the transaction. She swipes the card and runs away. I complain about her to the cashier. DAWN walks back, defends her actions. As I tell her what just happened, she talked over me, repeating she's doing the best she can. In addition, they sell items past expiration dates and put items in their circular sale yet they don't have the item. Train their managers, ensure all prices are correct, greet and respect customers, don't put items that you don't have in the circulars
