This company refuses to delete an inaccurate late payment on my Credit report. On the 28th of each month my account was due and was withdrawn. April 28th the amount of 160.00 was withdrawn, making the next payment May 28th. The May 28th payment was not withdrawn from my account. On June 11th the remaining 320 balance on the account was withdrawn as I wanted to pay off the loan completely. Even if this was a late scenario, this is only 14 days past the due date. I have tried to resolve this however they said the 30 days was from the last withdrawn payment. This is negatively affecting my credit score. They refuse to correct saying they are right and I just do not understand how late payments work. I asked if it was more than 30 days late why did they not contact, the rep explained that they tried to call EVERYDAY in May and sent an email around the 8th of May. WHY would they try to get a payment if it wasn't due until the 28th? I was told that "you don't understand how the late payment process works"... Late payments are after the due date, not before. This is negatively affecting my credit and I am in the process of trying to buy a house. Any negative remarks need to be justified. This is inaccurate. I was an on-time consumer prior to the whole loan being paid. Rather than admit a mistake and fix, they are stuck on keeping it there. I can provide documentation if needed that shows the withdraws from my account. Resolution Sought I would like them to fix the late payment, as it was not 30 days past the due date. Aside from this issue, I had nothing but positive experiences with them.
