I've hired a lawyer to help me with a child custody case I already have in place and he won't work on my case. I'd like to get my money back and go another way. Resolution Sought Refund my money.

Company states; He paid me in February. I then drafted the necessary pleading shortly thereafter while I waited for supporting evidence from him. He did not send complete work. Then, in May, he complained things were going too slow and said he no longer wanted to pursue the case for personal reasons. I refunded him his money less the incurred fees for the work already completed. I also sent him the pleading I drafted.
