Tampa Bay federal credit union withdrew my accounts balance of $23,896.18+ without my knowledge; they made an error and did not correct. They erroneously transferred my CD deposits to the state. So they took my money out of my accounts without my permission and they gave my money to the state on 6/12/23 – all without notifying me. They also took out $100 in abandoned property fees (they later gave this back to me – due to their errors). Three months before the erroneous withdraws, I spoke with Manuel O. at the Sheldon Road Branch who assured me that he had made a note in the system that this was an active account and NOT an abandoned property. He made this note on 3/8/23 and May 17/23. I also spoke to him 6/28/23. He assured me that I have to do nothing more because he cleared the account and made the Active account note on 3/8/23. They had a correct address and have not supplied tracking number for address attempts. They have other accounts under our name that are active with correct address and phone information. Manager Jose T. 11.0 4am did not help – he indicated that it is my problem and attempted to disguise their mistake on 6/27/23 via a phone conversation (only admitting to the May 17 2023 note from Manuel; but, never mentioning the March notation of Active account). Manager Jessica L. has not called me back per my request and has not provided resolve 6/28/23; once again, indicating this is my problem and I can deal with the State on this -per cus Resolution Sought Give me my money back now please.

Due to the sensitive nature of the issue, as well as the confidentiality required for financial institution accounts and personally identifiable information, the credit union has directly engaged with the member to address and resolve any outstanding concerns.
