There was a sign posted in store for a sale for buy one get one 50 off of the mega brand toys. Pokémon mega toys were not an exclusion per the sign posted. When I went to check out I was price matching the target app price on the mega toys which was significantly cheaper on the app which also had the bogo deal available to the items. When the employee nearby tried to price match, the system wouldn't let her when she called "the manager" on duty the manager which is when, and with who the issues began. "The manager" named Stephanie started making up her own policies saying that Pokémon mega was excluded from the bogo sale..she was very argumentative, unprofessional, and egotistical and was saying Pokémon mega toys were not included, all while the sign was posted right above the Pokémon mega toys, the sign clearly including the mega brand, as well as Mega Pokémon items not being stated as being an exclusion in there sale. It was only after a heated argument and me showing her on the app that the Pokémon mega toys WERE IN FACT INCLUDED in the sale that she then adjusted what needed to be adjusted. This was at least a 15 minute debate back and forth. I have been calling the south Jordan target multiple times a day to notify the general manager of this poor experience and lack of knowledge, professionalism and management however there is never an answer after being directed to guest services or any department the phone just keeps ringing until it is automatically disconnected Resolution Sought Discipline and educate "management" specifically the employee named Stephanie that I had this terrible interaction with. As a consumer I spend a lot of money constantly at target. I shouldn't have to go through what I did because an employee is uneducated and unknowledgeable about the current sales at hand. Do better target.
