Terrible experience!! I needed help with my taxes due to me having a lot of tax debt after my divorce. I didn't file my taxes since 2013, and ask them if they can help. Taxrise said they can help, but their fees was more than I could afford at the moment. So, they started to deduct monthly payments from my account until it was paid off, which totaled $5,000. After further investigation, I found out that they were a scam. The only thing they did was file some of my taxes, and they didn't do anything for me about what I owed the IRS. Therefore, I had to hire a legit tax attorney to take care of my issue with the IRS. They make all of these promises to help with negotiation with the IRS, but all they really do for you is file your taxes. It costed me $5,000 to do just that one thing. A complete scam and someone needs to stop this company from ripping off hard working people!! Please let this complaint be a warning for all!!
