I purchased a vehicle from them Dec 27th. 1 week later I had told them about the car leaking some oil and have a gas smell coming through the vents. I was told I could drop the car off, so their mechanics could look at it. I couldn't take it that before 4pm cause I didn't get home till 4pm at the time. After a couple of weeks or customer where I work canceled a lot of our orders, so we were getting off at 1pm. I took the car up there on a Tuesday and was told it would be Thursday our Friday before it would be fixed. I called Wednesday to see what the problem was and was told the main oil seal had to be replaced, so I called Thursday to see if my car was ready and I was told the mechanic was still working on it. I called Friday and was told it couldn't be fixed and needed another motor. At this point I pretty pissed having to pay so much for a vehicle that needs another motor and on top of that then wanting to keep my car until they found one. They told me I could just come up there and just get my car, so I did. Resolution Sought Give me another car or one I can use until the engine is in my car and ready for me to drive it.

Company states; Mr. Chmiel purchased a 2013 Ford Focus from Taylor Auto Sales on 12/27/2021. He brought his vehicle to us saying it had a oil leak. We checked the vehicle out and we did determine it has a oil leak. In Mr. Chmiel's complaint he stated that it was a week after he purchased it, but it was actually a month later. He also, stated that it needed a engine. We explained to him that it does not need a engine, it just needs a oil leak repaired. We explained to him that we would repair the vehicle, but he would need to leave the vehicle here at our location in order for us to repair it. We have also already explained to him that we do not have loaner vehicles. We just want him to understand that when you purchase a used vehicle that things sometimes have to be repaired and when something like this does occur that he would need to drop his vehicle off in order for us to repair it.
