Mr. Myers purchased a high efficiency washer from TSA for his ex-wife Ms. Myers. Mr. Myers delivered and installed the washer himself. Ms. Myers phone TSA stating that she could not read or understand how to operate her new appliance. We made several efforts to assist her with learning the features for her new appliance but she became more and more frustrated. She stated that she wanted something more simple. We stated our policy and informed her that Mr. Myers is aware of his current options. She then became extremely rude and impolite. Mr. Myers phoned the store to schedule a repair. We explained how Ms. Myers was behaving over the phone. We also explained that we will not schedule a repair if we have to do the repair in the home of a disgruntled person. Mr. Myers assured us that Ms. Myers would remain compliant while the repair person was in the home. Upon arriving to Ms. Myers home we found that she was no using the hot water with the high efficiency washer, which could sometimes cause the machine to code. We've explained to Ms. Myers that we would take the washer back to our shop to run it through its paces and then keep her posted. After testing the washer on several different cycles, we found that the washer was not malfunctioning. We explained this to Mr. and Ms. Myers. After explaining the situation to Mr. Myers, we were informed that Ms. Myers did not want the same washer back because it was too complicated. We were also informed by Mr. Myers that he would like to replace the washer with a more simple washer. He explained to TSA that he will just sell the appliance himself because Ms. Myers had already purchased a different washer from somewhere else. She was extremely rude and very insistent on what she wanted verses following the store policy. In conclusion, because Mr. Myers remained cordial during this whole ordeal, we have made arrangements with him to pick up a different washer. So the matter at hand has been taken care of. We will continue to communicate with Mr. Myers and not with Ms. Myers. She is not the person who purchased the appliance and signed contracts with TSA which stated our store policy and refund policy.
