My accountant was closed they have contacted the fraud department and promised to send me a check or the rema balance and so it was mailed On 10/15/2024. I have never received any check up until today I think they are living to me and never sent me anything it's been too long and they said if I get no check by 11/3/2024 they will stop payment on the check and I'll have to wait 90 days to get my money! This was not a Fraudulent case it's my money and I have my bills to pay it's the banks fault I didn't get my check and why must I wait 90 days for my penalty. Been waiting for a cashiers check for over two weeks now for a closed account never received a cashiers check! They said if nothing comes on Monday 11/4/2024 they will stop payment on that check and I have to wait 90 days for another check! I told them I wanted to pick the check up in the beginning and they didn't listen and sent it I e been waiting patiently it's not fair what they are doing! I urgently need my money the Holliday's are coming I need to start buying gifts and urgently have to pay my bills! What is wrong with this inconsiderate horrible Bank they are rude and not trustworthy at all! I demand my money or I shall have to pay a Lawyer to get my money back! Please try to help me I've been calling Monday -Friday every day now!, Very upset with this Matter. Resolution Sought Receive my Money from this TD BANK ASAP.

Your concerns are important to us, which is why we began looking into your concern immediately. In your inquiry, you questioned the inability to access your account. Your accounts are continuously monitored for suspicious activity and while we understand having your access restricted can be frustrating, please understand this is done for your protection. On 09/03/2024 the checking account ending 5709 was opened. On 09/26/2024 fraud review was conducted, and decision was made to end the relationship. On 09/26/2024 secondary review conducted, decision to close can't be overturned. Account closure will be processed after 15 days. On 10/14/2024 we mailed the remaining funds via check #86587 in the amount of $26,940.52 to the address on file. On 11/07/2024 stop payment was placed on check #86587 for $26,940.52 and mailed a new check #87566 for $26,940.52 to the address on file. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. I received a letter from publishers clearing house with a check for $6,860.55 . The check from concord general mutual insurance company, the bank was written on a TD Bank check the # on it was 2000835. So, I wanted to verify it to be good before I cashed it. I brought it to the TD Bank in Wayne NJ on Valley Rd. The bank official examined the check and said it was perfectly legal and he recommended me to deposit it in a saving account , so I did that. Then I checked online the next day and TD said it was pending, then I was told by TD Bank that the check was fake, no good, and informed me that they would no longer serve me as a customer with no explanation of grounds or reason , after 30 plus years of using ,causing me great inconvenience, I have my social security, my pension and several credit cards linked to my checking ,this is no way to treat a 82 yr old us army vet , my attorney believe s it is not legal and should have received a explanation, due to fact that the td bank teller informed me after he looked it up with the computer and said to that it should clear the by the next day. Resolution Sought Refund the me the money that this cutting off my banking service with the td bank will cost me , such as 230 unused checks , any late fees for my auto payments,for my time to straiten out my social security and pension.

Your concerns are important to us, which is why we began looking into your concern immediately. In your inquiry, you questioned the inability to access your account. Your accounts are continuously monitored for suspicious activity and while we understand having your access restricted can be a frustrating, please understand this is done for your protection. On 10/24/2024 savings account ending 8671 was opened On 10/24/2024 a $6,860.55 check deposit was made at TD bank. On 10/25/2024 the check for $6,860.55 was returned. On 10/25/2024 the account was restricted, and the decision was made to end the relationship On 11/08/2024 account was closed The decision to end the banking relationship was due to the discrepant activity. Upon escalation, leadership reviewed and upheld the decision. At this time the banking relationship will end Per the deposit agreement form, page 18- Returned Items Subsequent to Availability of Funds: If a check or other item you deposited to your account is returned to us unpaid after the fund have been made available to you, the amount of the check or other item will be decided from your account. If there are insufficient funds in your account, we reserve the right to demand payment directly from you and to charge you for the overdraft, if applicable, as posted in our most recent Personal Fee Schedule. Per the deposit agreement, as the account holder, you are responsible for the items deposited into the account. Check deposits typically take 7-10 days to clear the originating financial institution. If account holder is uncertain of the origin of a check, or following the direction of a third party, it is the accounts holder's responsibility to ensure the funds are valid prior to withdrawing from the account. Please see the below excerpt from the Personal Deposit Agreement that you agreed to when opening your account regarding our right o close your account. Our Right to Refuse/Close Accounts: The Bank reserves the right to refuse to pen any Account and to terminate any account at any time, ad for any reason, or no reason without notice to you (unless notice is required under applicable law). The terms of this Agreement apply to your Account even after the Account is closed. After and Account is closed, we may within our sole discretion reopen and Account to debit a transaction, recover a loss, reverse provisional credit, or for any other reason. If we re-open an Account, the terms of this Agreement continue to apply to the Account. While we realize the information provided may not alleviate your frustrations, we hope this letter helps to clarify TD Bank's actions with regard to this matter.
