I hired Lisa in 2010(?) to find my birth mother. Which she did! At my request, Lisa made contact with birth mother letting the woman know about me and paving the way to me calling birth mother. Lisa through her research found that I had bio siblings and agreed to call birth mom to ask her about them. Birth mother denied any siblings. Lisa told birth mother that she was "cold hearted and she had never met anyone so shut down" Birth mother replied "if I am such a horrible person, why do I have reservations to go meet her. "(Me) Lisa called me after that phone call to birth mother and shared with me word for word the exchange she had with my birth mother. Birth mother stopped taking my calls and never visited. Fast forward to 2021; I have met my maternal aunt and cousin. At the end of the visit, they repeated to me word for word what Lisa had told birth mother and told me that is why birth mother will not meet me as she feels I paid Lisa to say that to her. I have reached out to Lisa for follow up on this and expressed my sadness and frustration. Lisa denies ever saying any of those things and promptly blocked me on Facebook messenger. As a side note, I was to receive a full report from Lisa and I have never received anything on paper regarding "my case" Resolution Sought I would like her to take responsibility. For her actions and I would like to be reimbursed the time I could have had with my bio mother and have that relationship repaired by Ms Townsend. And considering the contract was not completed by not receiving a report, I would like my 900.00 reimbursed.
