I brought my dog to this Grooming salon to be groomed and about an hour later was called and I was told my dog is unresponsive. I arrive and my dog was dead, the owner will not show me footage of his grooming. I took my dogs body to his vet where an autopsy was performed and blood work and results came back with no abnormalities. I still do not know how my dog died in their care,they are not giving me answers. The owner is also unwilling to share her insurance coverage with me for compensation. I am devastated, angry. I do not want any other dogs or owners to have this experience. Resolution Sought I want to know what happened to my dog. I want the owner to share her insurance information for compensation.

We have sent the client our insurance information on 10/12, her mother also has the information and sent a follow up email to client on 10/18 to confirm if she received the insurance information. She did not reply. I personally reached out to her in an effort to find a solution and she insisted on the insurance and or going to court. There has been slander and defamation against my company with false accusations from her as well her network. As stated we are happy to show the video footage in which we did not harm her pet and she stated she did not want the dog taken to the vet after initially noting he came in and was ill. We also have accident reports completed by the staff and footage of them conducting cpr and trying to save her pet. At this point we have done all that we can to find a resolution, however unfortunately they are not looking for a resolution.

My dog was not sick when we arrived for services,.I dropped my dog off and about an hour or so later received a call to say my dog was unresponsive. I took my dog to our veterinarian of 13yrs and an autopsy and bloodwork was performed on my dog and there was no abnormalities detected. I infact have posession of the vet's report and also the vet still has my dog's body in case I need a second opinion.The owner of The Barke Shoppe was not forthcoming with her insurance information until the Better Business Bureau got involved only then did she contact me. The video that was shared is not complete as the owner said there was an interruption in their wifi that prevented me from seeing the full content. They lack empathy, given I had a member of my family who was not sick as they are claiming killed from mistreatment or misuse of equipment. If said dog was sick why would The Barke Shoppe groom him? Why would the groomer accept a sick dog (mix with other pets) and this was my first time using their service. Many of my neighbors have taken their dogs to the Barke Shoppe and have had bad experiences.I need a factual account of what transpired and some dignity for my dog.
