I gave $793 ( in two transactions $685 and $108) as advance to install glass windows on my screened porch in 2021 June, December. The business made several excuses to delay the work, then they stopped responding to messages. The did not refund the money, neither performed the job. Resolution Sought We are expecting the business to refund the full amount + penalty for fraud/false business practices.

The statement by your client is misleading. Client had two contracts with The Glazzman. First to paint his outside area. Which was completed. Then he added more painting which was originally contracted to do.. Which took about a week more to complete. We had work scheduled to start but client told us that he was going to be gone for approximately 2 months so we would be unable to perform the work as we had his time slot to do the work. I informed the client that we had two contracts to do out of state jobs that couldn't be rescheduled. Which we did. His deposit was used to purchase the materials needed for his new fixed windows which are at our Johnston County shop. We had several conflicts of schedules. We contracted Covid 19 twice during this time and were unable to perform work. When we were finally able to do the work, the client refused for us to come out to perform the work. We called and said we'd refund to him $425.00 and deliver the materials he already paid for. I attempted on 3 different times to deliver on our agreement but client was never home or answered our messages. After we reached the refund agreement with the client he never tried to contact us back to make arrangements to exchange materials and refund. The Glazzman will only give our original agreed upon refund of $425.00 plus framework and miscellaneous Items for assembly.

Customer Rebuttal

We have no complaint about the paint work. It is separate from glass work. We paid for paint work and it got completed. $793 was given for glass work and we have his message as proof on which he estimated money for glass work and we have the transaction details. We are asking for that refund. It’s true that he messaged us that he will refund, but it never happened. After that we called him multiple times, he never attended our calls. It is not true that we never attended his calls as he claims. We waited so long for him to respond to our follow ups regarding refund. He did not returned our call, that’s when we decided to approach business consumer alliance. He delayed the work one time saying bad weather and one time saying he broke his arm and some ongoing physiotherapy. And we have his messages as proof. Now the situation is he hasn’t done the glass work, neither returned full amount or partial. That’s the sole reason for this complaint. We have waited so long for this work and not delivered so far. It’s been close to year and half with this delay with the work. We would request for full refund.
