They cancelled my insurance. I made payment on there $359.27 9/24 they said my bank Citizens took back the payment. The bank said they didn't. They wanted a letter from the bank saying they didn't take it back. Citizens say they couldn't a letter but sent my bank statements. Resolution Sought They cancelled my insurance I want to be reinstated.

My vehicle was stolen,i was working out of state, the investigator put the claim on hold till i returned to California..during this time away, i received monthly bills, that i continued to pay throughout my absence. I did not know, nor was i informed that i actually didn't have to continue paying, the insurance policy was on hold from my absence, , my car was gone, so there's nothing to insure the claim is on hold. Now that i know this, i asked for my overpaid money, not be returned, just be ,APPLIED TOWARDS THE POLICY PRINCIPLE. I suggested this because a man i work for has fallen sick, ( a primary source of my income has closed down I'm asking this so that my full coverage ,250 deductible, with 4 days of rental car if needed will continue to be paid, and i would remain covered. calling customer service sends me to two supervisors that tell me no, cant be done, i should have cancelled my policy and not paid it I explained i didn't know that, I wasn't informed that, why didn't they tell me that? if it wasn't necessary, why did i continue getting a bill each month? I asked them to send me the text that i can or could read regarding this type of thing. ,the guide to figure out the different reasons to pay or not pay, giving this type of information to me. I received nothing. i did not realize i missed a payment, that had been autopay, i got a new debit card while in the hospital, forgetting to give the new card # to re set up auto pay. my policy is cancelled for no Resolution Sought Restore my coverage that they cancelled for non payment, use the money that id paid in towards this principal, change their policy towards addressing policy that doesn't make any sense, cancelling a policy that is on hold never crossed my mind, its still in effect, . hearing from the company that payments could be put on hold ,pending its outcome, for instance, should come from them. i did not make a donation to the Hartford by paying a bill that shouldn't have been sent out in the first place.

speaking with the Hartford attorney,there was no shred of amending ,to me, a gross neglect to honor my agreement with them to represent me, as the word insurer would imply. I asked,as a courtesy by them ,to review what had been done by them to help me, there was nothing. they could have gotten the report to the police about my stolen car, and gotten it, simply for the asking,as they were the interested insurance company,interested in finding out the facts of the report.theyre of the position to quote policy paragraphs and deny me simple justice. they've shown bad faith in everything they've done,this is beyond my capabilities to battle with,as they are using much more to thwart my getting satisfaction over a stolen car,powerful legal minds have been called in to prove them right,as opposed to helping me in any sort of way. if this were to go to the people for their opinion they would lose because of their bias and discrimination against a untrained on law,retired senior,without resources to fight a giant. this situation is surely not seen often,if ever and deserves more attention to helping a man that was paying to provide himself the best protection he could get,but got nothing.
