Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

A variety of factors are considered when calculating CRI. This includes how quickly a company responds to complaints, the number of complaints against a company, whether the company addressed complaint allegations, and the outcome of the complaints. CRI is just a subset of the overall rating for the company. On April 30th I purchased closet doors and bedroom/bathroom/patio doors. The installation was to be completed in one day. On the day of installation only the patio door was installed due to not having all doors with them. The second installation was scheduled weeks later with the promise that it would be completed in one day. Again bedroom doors and bathroom doors were installed and closet door was left laying in spare room missing hardware and still needed 4 more closet doors. Months go by and finally call to schedule an install with us only to call the night before around 8pm to cancel due to a "catastrophic event " which at this point I don't believe anything home depot has said. I have spent 7 months waiting for them to complete a job that they are overpaid for and have horrible customer service. I have missed 3 days of work due to their incompetence and still have a closet door in my spare room and still paying for something that I have yet to receive 7 months later. Resolution Sought Do the installation or give me a refund. Give me a percentage off for missed work and waiting 7months.
