I was deceived by Home Depot!

I went to home depot to purchase a john dear lawnmower but switched to a cub cadet instead. The salesman suggested I apply for a credit card and save 100.00 I and signs were on all lawnmowers. Stating aame. This was a bit aggerating to go thru but wanted to save 100.00...like I said approved for 1000.00 and during the check out I ask did you take off 100.00 and that's when I was informed I didn't get the 100.00 because I need more than 1000.00 on my credit card as that promotion required me to have credit over 1000.00 and since mine was only 1000.00 I didn't qualify. I could not believe they could get away with that crap and told her she could keep that lawn mower and cancel my card and i will not shop with such trickery people using deceiving signs and salesman that encouraged customers to do the same only to find out you need to be approved for OVER 1000.00 , making it impossible to get the 100.00 off. I told her to cancel my card card but instead she charged the smaller items I had to that card card while informing me she couldn't cancel I would have to go online and cancel it myself. I told her I didn't want to use that card I wanted it canceled instead she charged .... Home depot is being deceptive and i knowing the amount customers would be approved wanted no part of their scams. I am so angry I was deceived by home depot knowing I would not get the 100 off but store would be credited for the credit card approval. They should be fired and exposed.
