I have a wage garnishment against me from the lawyer I have been in contact with her office numerous of times. I need her to update my balance with my job and she won't do it I have paid her but she is still taking my money and her Secretary is very unprofessional I just needed my information fix with my employer and she keep telling me she fax over a balance update to my job on September 2,2022 but I called my job on September 7,2022 for my job to tell me nothing has been sent over so they keep lieing to me about the paper work and keep getting smart with me on the phone when all I want them to do is update my balance at my job Resolution Sought I have tired to handle the situation on my own but I just keep getting the run around so I need help and assistance to get it done

Pursuant to Maryland Rule 3-646(j)(2), within 15 days after the end of each month, we are required to send out a report showing how the wage garnishment payments were applied and the balance. The first garnishment payment we received from this Defendant was on September 8, 2022. Based on that, the monthly creditor report will be sent to the Employer and the Defendant at the end of this month as required by the Maryland Rules. My secretaries have explained that to the Defendant to no avail. As a courtesy, my secretary called the employer on September 8th and gave a verbal balance update.

I called my employer on September 15,2022 and it was still no update balance i was in touch with her rude secretary and she told me she faxed it over a balance update on September 2,2022 which was a lie. They received 1 payment from me personally and the other two from my job on on august 31,2022 and September 7,2022 which all check was cash and i have all my receipts

Yes, complainant made LUMP SUM payment in August, and there have been 2 checks garnished so far. She is very close to being paid off, but not yet. She will most likely be paid off with next two checks. We have sent info to her and her employer regarding this balance. Thank you.
