On March 8th, I made two payments for a college collection amount. One payment I made was 1000 & another was 209.45. I have a receipt stating I made a payment. Today I received an email from them saying to call them. From there, Rex Xander tells me I never paid them. I told him I have two receipts. He kept saying I never paid. I went back into my email and found my receipts. I asked him to send me proof of the matter and instead he told me that he was going to tell the firm I'm not paying them. I wanted to see why they were telling me I did not pay them. I called my Bank and they informed me that this law office never made an attempt to collect. I was told to report them for being callous about the fact and also for claiming my bank was the issue. I had $8000 in my bank account when they decided to tell me I owed them. I had the funds. Resolution Sought I do not owe them. I feel that they should say the account it paid. I already had an issue with them from making my balance go from 820 to 1209. They could not give me a reason why they did that. I do not want to have anything to do with this company. If I still have to make a payment, I wish to have however many months I want to pay it off and I want to pay it to another firm because they are rude and their communication is unacceptable.
