On 02/02/21, I hired Renesha Madison to represent my wife and I in two legal cases in Hall County, GA. She agreed to represent us for $500 for each case, and I paid her with a credit card. On 09/13/21, my wife received a letter stating her case will be held on 10/07/21. I called Ms. Madison and she said she would check on both our cases the next day. The next day she emailed me saying she was withdrawing from both our cases and would send our refund immediately. Since the payment was made on a credit card, all she has to do is credit the amount back to my card. She has no intention of refunding my money. I did some online research, and discovered she has done this to other people. As far as I am concerned, this is fraudulent activity. From the time I hired her in February until I called her recently, she never once contacted us with any info on our cases. When I did try to contact her, she got angry and said she only communicates through email. I should have researched before I hired her. Resolution Sought Refund my money as she stated in the email

This is untrue. I did in fact refund he and his wife both $500.00 after deciding not to work on their criminal cases due to their disrespect. It is also a complete lie that we have not spoken since February as we have spoken a total of 4 times outside of our initial consultation. Due to the pandemic, the court holding both of their charges didn’t set his wife’s first court date until October even though she incurred the charges in February. At this point he has been refunded the entire amount he paid on both cases despite work being done on their cases.
