In August 2019, I purchased a pool from the Pool People which included the install. Immediately I began having issues. The bottom of the pool had dips all around it. I called a week after the pool was installed. They kept saying they would get back with me but then fall came and I closed the pool. April 2020, I began calling again. We opened our pool with all the dips and it began to lose water, we were able to swim but had to add water twice a week. Every time I called they said due to COVID they were short staffed but would call me as soon as they could squeeze me in. Finally I was able to get in touch with Bruce the owner, I explained my situation and how I needed him to come check the pool and fix it. His response was 'His business is struggling due to COVID and he had to take care of paying customers first'. I explained I was a paying customer and they didn't do the job correctly, he then said they would squeeze me in when they could. Fast forward, I hired another company to come and look at our pool, the liner had to be replaced due to the leak that was unable to be found and dips all over the bottom. While the new company was replacing the liner they found the gaskets that belong around the skimmer and water return UNDER the liner. I would like to know what could be done to make this right. Not only did I pay over $4000 for a pool that was not done correctly, but a huge water bill plus another $1800 for another liner to be installed. Please advise. Thank you Resolution Sought I would like money back for the work that someone else had to fix. I would like the $1800 for liner and install along with the $1000 for the loss of water and aggravation while waiting for them to return my call for a year and a half that they never intended to return! And an apology for the run around and lack of respect for my situation that they created. Whether this was a one time occurrence or not, it was poor workmanship and a VERY poor way to run a business.
